I bought silverstars for mine, you can tell a difference, but nothing to significant. I guess i would recommend them to someone who doesn't mind spending the 50 bucks!

So when it says "equivalent to HID", they weren't lyin'.
Has anyone tried PIAA bulbs in their pathy? How are they compared to the Sylvanias?
I have a pair of Eagle Eyes HID lights and I can tell you that they are a helluva lot brighter than your standard Halogen light bulbs or even the Sylvania's Silverstars. They light up my entire street and then some at night. You can't compare HIDs to simple Halogen light bulbs. The Silverstar's aren't worth it in my opinion. If you want bright clear lights, go all the way.
While we're on the subject of headlights, Does anyone know how to adjust the headlights on an 02' Pathfinder? The person who owned it before me had a minor front collision which made the front bumper cover slightly out of line and one of the headlights is outta whack. PS I have silverstars on my car and my Honda Passport that I traded in and I think they are awesome bulbs. They project a nice white clear light.

A guy at work had PIAA's in his Spec-V and one blew out in about 2 months. He won't recommend them. He's using Type-R bulbs for a while now and no complaints.
I put the GE nighthawks in my 06 Pathfinder. I hated the quality of the stock hallogen that was in there. The nighthawks have provided a wider and longer viewing pattern and are definately brighter than stock. They also look good with the factory Fogs so no color difference there. I've heard the Phillips Xtravisions will have similar effects.
I replaced my stock lights with the silverstars and the fog lights too, now when i turn on the fogs and regular lights they both look bright and white, not a nasty yellow color

Where did you get your HIDs from, i am very interested in getting some, but cant seem to find them. Everywhere i look it says only an H4 will work, i have a 99.5 SE limited Pathy
I installed PIAA's for both headlight and fogs.
I like them. maybe a little adjustment to raise the lights. but overall I am happy.
I only use PIAA's and so does my brother, I don't have any issues with them. to me they last a long time under normal use and wear.
I am planning on installing HID's in the near future. I can get it for a low price.
