Busted peice... 91

Hello. I Have a 1991 pathfinder, 4 door, 4x4. Recently i snapped the hooks off my glove compartment box... ive tried glueing the hooks back...with many glues but nothing works... Junkyard wants 35$ for the damn peice... and dealer wants 116.... for a damn glove compartment box!! anyone have some ideas on how jto fix this peice?

Well the problem is the 2 clips... the hoops where the bolt goes through snapped off... so nothing will really work unless i get those peices or something similar in the gap.

Have you tried a two part plastic epoxy? If that doesn't work you might be able to fabricate piece, but I suspect the $35 is worth the cost unless you have lots of time to kill.

I agree, for the 35 bucks i would just buy the correct part and then you know for sure they will fit and you dont have worry about trying to screw around with trying to make something else fit.
