93 Pathfinder rear springs

I just did a search and found no results. My 93 Pathfinder is sagging to the left a little bit. I read a topic about adjusting the front torsion bars and that helped a lot but the rear is also sagging and I am probably due for some new springs. Does anyone know where I can get a new set of springs (other than the dealer (I don't feel like getting raped with their prices))?

88pathoffroad has a really neat site for pathys, and he has a "how to"page for fitting Fordcoils to a pathy -95 and older, check it out.

Ill put the jeep grand cherokee front coils on my pathy and it was a huge diffrence to the original ones.

Ok, let me tell you exactly how stupid I feel at the moment. Up until about 30 seconds ago when I went and checked, I could have sworn the Pathfinder had leaf springs in the back. I was wondering how in the hell you could retrofit leaf springs with coils w/o installing any trail/swing arms as well. Damn I feel dumb. Oh well, that means the swap will be that much easier and I won't have to spend a fortune on new springs. Thanks Charlie!

And after reading a bit more, you say this swap actually lifts it. Does it lift it to where it would be sitting higher than it would normally sit stock (new)? If so, I just want mine back to the height it was stock.

used jeep coils dosent lift the car so it look unnatural, ill have put some thick rubber "rings" from a old Mercedes to, one up and one down of the coils, to get mine as high as it is.

And you must cut off the "pigtail" one jeep coils, so then you could just cut a little bit moore if you thinks it looks to high.

Ill lifted the car and put it on jackstands, and then ill just took the shocks of from the axle (not from the body), and ill did have a jack under the axle (you need to lift the axle a little to get the shocks of.

Then ill lowered the axle until the parkingwires and brakelines get as tensioned as theyll could, then the coils just did to jank out.

Ill never did have so make any of the coils shorter whit any tool.

Ill hope this could be for some help for you, but its hard to explain when my english isnt the best and ill dont now what everything is called on "car english"
