New guy here and yes,,,,i searched before im asking!! Im a full time fishing guide in fla and love my pathys...Real excited to find site.Took a while!!Where and how do i replace my fuel filter on my 97 pathy??And....Is it hard to replace oil sending unit..(The little thing by oil filter thats leaking oil ,got a rubber boot and wire coming out) Thanks for answers to remedial questions but i answer them all the time about boating with my other addiction..my classic Mako...fishing boat. Thank you..
The fuel filter is in the engine compartment on the right fender well. The sending unit isn't hard to replace, no tricks, though a socket (usually of a special design for this purpose) makes it that much easier. When you install the new one, tighten it as you would a small pipe, snug and them some (the fitting is tapered, just like a plumbing fitting).
P.S.: how's the fishing?

Thanks ,,,thought i was blind or stupid looking for it!!
Sorry about that. Seems they moved it to the back again. I've had Nissan trucks starting with an '80. As much as I can figure, they started in the engine compartment, then they moved it to the rear in early to mid '80s because of heat, then they moved them back up front mid to late '80s (probably because of icing). I didn't realize they would have put it in the rear again (that doesn't sound very nice, does it).
