Question 2002 LE - Rear Wiper Replacement

OK - I'll admit it...I screwed up by not making the carwash place put tape on my rear wiper -- and now I'm having to pay for it.

The result of that bad decision is a bent rear wiper that won't "sit" in it's place, and when I run it, the motor whines and grinds because it can't finish the job (of re-seating).

Does anyone know how to replace that wiper, or a website or magazine/book that will explain it to me? I'd hate to have to take it back to the dealer for something like this.

thanks

Pop off the cap from it's pivot area, that will expose a bolt. Remove bolt and pull wiper arm off. Find replacement.

Do you have access to a vice? wrap it in cloth a few times and bend it till it's right. If that fails, look for a used one, like the wreckers. The stealer would be the last place I'd shop.

Thanks -- I figured it was something easy, but I didn't want to mess anything else up.

I finally have the replacement and removed the bolt, but the arm isn't coming off too easily. Should I just tug at it real hard? I'm erring on the side of caution so the connection won't get screwed up, but I really need to replace that sucker.
