Do you have a rattle in your fan at low speeds? 1 or 2?
I did some research and nissan may cover this repair, its actually the blower motor cover, i have the PDF with all the information... lemee know if ya want to see it.

Rattle in my fan at low speeds
I have a '91 Pathfinder SE and I've recently noticed a rattling from my fan at low speeds. What's the problem and the fix? Please share.

Mines a 98, It only humms when its at a low speed like one or two, but not on the highest setting of 3. I have the document that nissan released saying it is the blower motor cover, and i think they might cover the replacement cost

Will you please share with me. I do have a rattling noise when the fan is set at 2 and higher. It is quiet when it is set on 1. I am very much interested if it is coverd in the warranty or if Nissan will repair this problem.

I am having the same problem at low and medium speed. Any tips on how to replace the cover? Fan is blowing fine - just very noisy.
