6.5" Speakers in front/rear doors?

I just got my Pathfinder, and am wondering if MB Quart Discus 6.5 Coaxials will fit in the front and rear doors. I have the Bose system. Will they fit out of the box or will I have to get brackets or something?

Crutchfield says they are fit for 6.5's stock, and the guy I'm buying the MB Quarts from said they fit. I'm just wondering if it'll screw right in or if I'll need brackets or something.

I was just told by a best buy guy that my 05 pathfinder has 6x9's in the front door and 6.5's in the back. I don't have the bose, but I was wondering if there was any speakers in the dash???

There are a couple of posts from people who have replaced their stock BOSE speakers with Alpine speakers. I know a guy on here named Triffd or something like that upgraded his Bose to Alpines on his new 2005 Pathy.

Check out this:

He was really happy with the Alpines. I think the fronts were like 6.5" rounds and the rear were 6x9"...could be wrong...check his posts.

Also, check Edmunds.com and search for "Alpine" in the Edmunds forum.

Hmm...I have the BOSE system...and according to other people who have replaced their speakers, the rear speakers are 6x9...see my previous post and the pictures of the speakers that Triffd put in his 2005 Pathy.

I think the other post on here has the front and rear speakers mixed up. I think the fronts are 6.5 and the rears are 6x9 with the Bose system.

I was just wondering if anyone had any clue how much power that Bose head had? I'd like to just drop in some new Alpine speakers and see if that improves the Bose system enough to not have to do anything else. I'd prefer not to install additional amplifiers and subwoofers...not looking for a concert hall...just trying to improve the SUCKY Bose factory system.
