Problem with 2000 LE Rear Wipers

On my 2000 Pathfinder LE, the rear wind shield wipers now come on when I start the vehicle even if they are turned off. I have checked all of the fuses but cannot find any that are bad. The only way to get the wiper off is to turn them on with the switch and then back off, then they complete the 2 wipe cycle and turn off. When the vehicle is turned off they go back through the 2 wipe cycle again and turn off. I'm guessing that its a relay or switch issue but I'm not sure where to start. The dealer does not know and wants $80 to troubleshoot it. Any help would be great.

Thank you,

Rich

That's it! $80 is cheap compared to what we charge at our dealership...$110.

Yep! I know that its not bad but if I can avoid the $80 and just replace what is bad I would prefer it...

Wiper relay stuck?

I would find it (under hood pass. side in plastic box?) and replace that before doing anything more expensive!
