Question 95 PF speaker replacement

I want to replace the speakers in my 95 PF LE. It has the OEM eight speaker system (including 6x9's (??) in the front doors and the roof in the cargo area, plus tweeters in the front pillars and in back with the rear speakers). I plan to use 4 coaxial speakers and get rid of the existing tweeters.

I have good mechanical skills and have no problem with doing stuff like replacing major engine components, but when it comes to interior work, I'm a possible danger to myself and others!! I suspect I could do this with some guidance, however!

My question: What do I need to do to access the speakers, both front and back? Special tools? Is it necessary to remove the entire inside trim of the door, and/or headliner, or can they be replaced by removing the speaker covers? And how do those parts come off? Please walk me throught this, people!

Thanks!

The door speakers, I'm sure you have to remove the arm rest. I don't know how the door speakers should actually be taken apart, but I do know the door grills are bigger than you think.

As for the rear speakers, on the ceiling, don't pry on the metal grill. I know it looks decieving, but pry between the headliner and the plastic that supports the grill. You don't need special tools, mainly a flathead and a #2 philips, maybe a #3.

As for the tweeters, sorry, don't have a clue.
