Rear Wheel Squeal

I recently purchased a 95 Pathfinder with about 125,000 miles on it. It's in good condition but I've noticed a intermittent squeal coming from the rear wheels. It generally doesn't begin until about 10 or 15 minutes after I've been driving and it's not timed at all to braking or turning. I had the truck inspected before I bought it and they said it had at least 12,000 more miles on before the brakes needed to be replaced. Any ideas? You guys have been helpful before so I thought I'd give it another shot. Thanks,
adam

Is it an XE or SE,LE model?

If it's an SE or LE, the rear disc pads are easy to come off. Just need the correct socket or wrench size and remove the bolt. The caliper lifts up and from there, the pads will come off. From there, you can get some sandpaper, 200 grit, I guess, rough up the pads a bit. Same with the discs, rough em up a little.

If it's an XE, same thing, but less work. rough up the drum lining and shoes with sandpaper.

After all that, clean them up with some brake cleaner. Bout 2 hours of work if you take your time and be thorough for bout $5(brake cleaner). See if that works.

Have fun!
