I forgot to tell you guys...
I almost got into an accident last week. Well, I was on my way to work, it was like 6:15AM, the weather looked kinda stormy, but it wasnt raining. So I got onto the I-35 like I always do, I drove about 3 or 4 miles, then I guess I just drove right into the storm, all of a sudden it started raining really hard, I had to put my wipers on "super fast," people start slowing down to like 50mph so I start passing people doing like 65mph. It was all fine, I wasnt racing or weaving or anything, I was using caution cause it was hard to see. So I start getting over to the right because I am coming up on a junction and I'm getting onto 240. Well, I'm in the right hand lane and my car starts hydroplaning, it feels like I'm on ice. I let off the gas, cause I know you're not supposed to brake. I feel my car start kinda fish tailing, then I'm sliding kinda sideways, then my wheel just feels like it jerks to the left (I dont have power steering) and I spin around 180 degrees and I think I pressed in the clutch cause my car never stalled and I think I'm rolling backwards, it happened so fast all I remember is that I was staring at headlights, three lanes of traffic coming at me. I pulled the e-brake and slid back around to the left another 180 degrees and was back in the right lane. I caught my breath and put it in 2nd gear and just continued getting off on my exit while thinking the rest of the way to work, holy shit.
