based on psuLemon's thread, you can get a saab 92x (dressed up WRX) for 19 grand... viseted my local saab dealer to possibly buy one... well, they arent selling them anymore, WTF? neither is the only other saab dealer within 100 miles... okaay, so i went to a subie dealer annd was looking at a WRX... then i saw it, legacy GT.. turbo 4 250 hp AWD hottness, faster then aWRX... holy shit this car kicks ass...priced it out, its a bit too high, but im prolly going back this october, dealer says car is too new for anything major( 1000 rebate or 2.9%) and said if i pay the toaster off more we can make it work... this car blows a maxima away, for 7 grand less.... holy shit i am impressed 0-60 in 5.3 sec...

Yeah... I went to a dealership today and a guy was trying to get me into a 2003 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS and I was telling him that I wasn't going to make a decision without my dad there. and I wasn't going to have the money till Thurs anyway, but then the manager walks up and was pressuring me and was saying crap like he'd write out the contract to give $5k for the Z on trade-in, and get the payments to 195/mo, and have it on the father's approval so i could bring it back if He didn't like it. and all this other crap. It's like STFU dude. I'm not buying the car today.... deal with it! I'll have to take my dad down to look at it though that's for sure. it was all stock except a new intake. I love me an AWD boxer powered Subie but I dunno.
I never asked. She was one of the organisers and it never crossed my mind to ask such a question. I was tempted to ask about the car though.
Because most Subaru buyers are from an "alternate" lifestyle, which is why I asked. One reason I won't buy one, because almost all of the ones I see have that cute little rainbow in the back window........

Well, I can't say that's been my experience here in Alberta but let's not turn this into some muffdiving/cocksmoking extravaganza. It's a nice ride. And for the record, I prefer the wagon hawtness.

Then that makes you a lesbian.......

Fun cars but God forbid you blow a head gasket on these engines.

I've noticed this but never really gave it any consideration...it's not as much the Rex/STi though as other models.
