I've been trying to reach a store I purchased a STB from and returned it and they have been unresponsive since the item got back to them.
let me know who lives nearby since maybe you can call them to see if they are just away, or changed numbers, etc.
Here's the story.
I ordered a dual tuner HD dvr off ebay from a dish network store. The piece came fine, but was a defective unit. I had dish install it and their installer said return the unit. So I called up the store, and the guy said send it back. I did, and we spoke when he received it and I was awaiting a refund. Well, he never called me back, and isn't answering his phone

I don't want a new dvr. I either want a full refund, or will pay the extra difference for the newer model dvr.
I'm wondering if he's screening my calls because sometimes I get voicemail on 1 ring, and sometimes on 5 rings.

hmm,
i'd rather not go that route just yet. Seeing as he actually is a legitimate business (I believe) I may take it up with dish network before ebay to see if he's a real retailer. He doesn't have any feedback problems or bad history and was actually really helpful on the phone. Just I haven't been able to get in touch with him for a long time and started wondering. We're talking about a $500+ item.
I was just wondering if anyone else got a voice on the phone if they tried the #.
So,
He called me today. Apparently his cell phone broke and he couldn't get his pin for his voicemail. That and he was sick and had a death in the family. Sure enough he has a real storefront business listed on dishnetwork's website. So for now it seems back on again.
