Talking Help, yo. My car seat is stuck.

Yo guys. The front driver seat is STUCK at the backest position farthest back. I was changing in the front seat for work and now I can't slide it back up. I don't think anything is accidently jamming it; it just feels like the release doesn't work or something. It happened once before, and I don't remember how I fixed it. BTW I drive a B14. ANYONE KNOW WHATS WRONG?

Any currency that is in coin form WILL be found in your seat rails. I just took the seat out, and removed the penny that was stopping the seat from sliding back and forth on the rails.

Easiest way to fix it, cause ya cant really see under there, is take the seat out by removing the 4 bolts on the floor, and unclip the seatbelt sensor under the seat if its the drivers side.

oop, didnt see the post above me.

I had that problem with my passenger's seat. Took it out and shook the f out of it upside down. A nickel fell out of the rail, works like new...

Thats totally gay. Am I allowed to say gay? I have no time to unbolt my seat because of finals and crap. And I'm planning to drive some chicks around soon too. I"d have to drive with a totally ghetto ass lean.

you have to "drive some chicks around" ?????.............just unbolt it! what did you want to hear? "well first pull the lever up, second tap the right side of the head rest....SHAZZAM! its fixed"

things take time and effort to fix. if you skimp on either one you will end up making it worse (im not saying everything takes a crap load of time and effort to fix.....but you should look at every job as though it will)

Unfortunately there is no way you can just look under your seat or down the sides and see the coin...I can almost guarantee anyone would ever be that lucky.

Good luck on a 5 minute job...maybe you could take it to a mechanic?

stick a quarter under the steering wheel center cover piece. like where the switch for the horn is. that will provide fun for hours upon end.....unless you gotta park your car in front of your house at 2AM.......and yes i know from experince

It really is a 5 minute job though, if you have the right size sockets. Not hard at all.
