I have the a Flash Kill extension that hides flash stuff, it only shows where flash is and a little logo, if I want to see the flash object, I click on the logo.
That and the built-in popup blocker hide about 90% of ads, plus I don't get those annoying ads that play sound or suddenly appear over the page you're viewing.
There's a special place in hell reserved for people who make those ads.

Weather.com's, and a few |337 ones for searching torrents. Don't look, ya wont find em.
