Prelude vs Integra

I got into a disagreement with a friend over which was the better car. Since we couldn't resolve it, we decided to go to the tuning community to get an answer.

Which one do you think was the better car and why?

Having driven both before, I'd say I always liked the prelude better. Note that I'm talking about old cars here. The prelude always seemed to pull harder, steer better, and was just more comfortable all around.

Teg. Prelude has the heavier H22 in the front end, doesn't turn as well. Stock at least. Throw enough money at the suspension , you can make anything turn......
The Type-R and the GSR perform far better than the Prelude does.

Prelude is nicer and has a better fit and finish

Integra is better performance-wise

Depends on what you're into

for All Around perfromance id go for the Integra.their accleration is about the same with the Prelude having more overall power hp/TQ but the Integra has a better power to weight ratio which makes it my tossable and controllable in and around corners.

power to weight is more important than brute power around a track. which is why a Lotus Elise can run and hide from cars with double its power on the tracks.

the GSR is more than a match for the Prelude and the Type-R is just much better.

it depends.........i love my 92 Lude' but i also like my friends 95 Teg. Mine has the h22 which i bought with it swapped from the original H23 non V-Tech. Oh course mine has more power than his, approx- 195 stock vs. about 150 stock.
His interior is about the same as mine but i dont like my dash. Mines the SI so i dont have 4 wheel steering which im thankful for. Their both very good cars IMO, good looks, dependable, good aftermarket support, the things you look for in a car. But im biased so i say Prelude cause of the engine

I'de take the B18C5 over anything else. IIRC it is only available in the R. The GS-R has a B18C1.

Hark! its the purveyor of good news.

Do you even have your drivers license yet?
Kardon, just becuase you cant afford a nice car doesnt mean you have to get all pissy. And just becuase rice boys drive them, doesnt mean they are ricy cars to begin with.

gixxers are common for sportbike riders
but alas, they are one of the greatest cycles ever manufactured for the market

i hate ricers just as much as the next guy
but IMO driving a Honda doesnt make you a ricer

its what you do with the car that makes you a ricer
i know plenty of H-Cars that are very nicely done (much nicer than some of the Nissans I see around here)

but im just an auto enthusiast...i happen to drive a Nissan

I'll say Integra even though I've never driven one, not sure I've ever ridden in one. I did have an 89 Prelude as my first car and man did that thing suck...

hell i drive anything...honda, nissan, mitsu and i happen to have an example of each manufacturer...
Prelude-love it
Sentra-love it
3000gt-love it but insurance is killing me.....lol
either way, handas are good cars, even civic as long as theyre tastefully done. I know plenty of nice hondas. And Preludes and Integras are def. not underpowered....But then again i may be biased

Ive always liked the Integra, the GSR has good power and they have really good aftermarket support.

The Prelude is alright too, its much classier and can be made up really nice.
