ok, you meterologists

ok, so I'm sittin here playing San Andreas b/c I'm fuckin addicted, now. it's been kinda wet out from an eariler rain but it's been pretty calm all night. All of a sudden, huge gust of wind comes in and scares the crap outta me. You can hear the chimney and skylights rattling. I mean, we're getting AT LEAST tropical storm-force winds now. Shit is flying everywhere, power is flickering, I won't be surprised if I find some shingles missing tomorrow. WTF? What the hell causes the weather to change that fast? It's like a damn cold front came at us like a damn train. I feel like I'm waiting out a hurricane.

Here we also got weir weather, I've seing sometimes Tornado Clouds & winds moving form different directions, but the Tornado never forms, fortunatelly.

Yesterday we a windy evening, we also got a dry season so, a Fire started across the street in a large dry grass terrain, some flames reach 20fts at least, nothing happends, Houses here are made of brick & due to the height (6,000ft above sea) flames are +/-weak, lets see what happened during the season.

Yeah well I got to witness our FIRST ever in history a White Christmas. It actually snowed for about 2 hours here in New Orleans. Pics in a second.

Well we'll wait another 13 years for the next snow here!

EDIT : PICS

Was jus watching the news. Says the winds were up to 71MPH in Tampa, did damage similar to a tropical storm. Signs down, 40,000 w/o power. I still don't get where it came from, there was no rain. It jus came out of nowhere around 4AM and it died down by the afternoon.

Oh, and I think it was a chair that hit the house, we also had a potted plant knocked down.

its called a mirco burst- results from a rapid change in pressure above the earth and the wind rushing either out or in at high speed. most occure either before a big storm or something of the like.

we didnt have a bad storm, but it snowed all day on the 24th here. it was awesome

Maybe it was the winds produced by the Asia earthquake.
