Undercover Police Car?!.......

Okay.....so I'm traveling down the Tri-State tollway in the Chicago area going to some relatives tonight. Going a pretty decent 80mph with a TON of traffic. Get to a pretty congested area (Lake Cook and the Tollway for those of you Chi-town people) and I notice a cop comming up from behind. Can't be comming after me, I was one of the SLOWER ones.

I just let the man pass as he pleases. Now as he goes by, I just about dropped a massive load in the ol' jockey's. Now I've seen Camaro's, Impala's, Mustang's, etc.. as unmarked police cars. NOW i've seen ALL of them.

A HONDA ACCORD!! WTF!! No way!!!! Couldn't believe it, but it was true. An undercover HONDA ACCORD cop!!!

I guess to beat em, ya gotta join em!

lol a honda accord, some of the cops in my area have resorted to dodge intrepids which i think is stupid considering they will be bad in about a year judging by how cops drive and how intrepids are shit. Also there are many jeep cherokees and ford explorers but the infamous crown vic is still at large.

I have seen a lot of different vehicles being used as unmarked cars, but never a Honda, an accord even......lol I sure hope he wasnt trying to catch anybody.

I saw an '04 Maxima, a champaignish colour here a week ago. I was quite surprised, and scarred at the same time. Also saw a white Volvo a good 5 months ago.

A guy I worked who drove a Jetta had a cop in a modified Civic come up to him and tell him to pull over. He told the guy to fuck off thinking it was a load of BS and their was no way he was a cop. He said in no time he had plenty of cops on his ass and was in major trouble. I never asked for full details as I never knew him all that well and we were both always busy. That would suck to drive a Civic. Hell, it would suck to drive any FWD car and be a police officer. A state trooper I was talking to said he and most guys prefer the Impala (as in the RWD older ones) over the Crown Vics as he said they can be driven much harder and dont break loose as easily.

That could be...he said it was a Civic cop car but who knows. He could have meant it had police lights or simply that a cop was driving.

Just for clarity for those of you who COULDN'T read my first post. It was an UNMARKED Honad ACCORD. Not a civic or a black and white police car.

Some of the cities around here are using Impala SSs (The newer version).

Up in Westminster they 'trol for street racers in unmarked Cherokees. And down by Pueblo they are using a Diablo and a Viper as interceptors.
