They weren't there when I was here first. I said Evo because I like it better than all the others and AWD would be better to learn in than RWD.

I'd say Evo because AWD is not too hard to handle and the car is compact or Rx-8..no wrx because theres too many out there. Lucky bastard I didnt have a choice of cars when it was time to buy one.

TAKE ONE VOTE OFF WRX, AND PLACE IT ON GTO

V8 power, no four banger is ever going to equal that. Especially if you give it all the trappings that you would give to an import(turbo and what not)...nothing will beat it.

plus aftermarket parts for american cars are cheaper.

i say rx-8, the wankel rotary is pretty stable now, and theres good aftermarket support for em, but all of these cars are a bit powerful if hes only 16, im 16 and i personally would be a bit afraid of all the power they put out.

if his parents are willing to spend 30k+ why not just get something like a neon, or some other compact with not a lot of power, i dont see the need for that much power in a daily driver, woohoo, you can claim to have all this power, but hes 16, like myself, i doubt he knows how to handle it, i know im happy with my little sentra, i think my car gets up and goes fast enough, i can sit there from a dead stop and have it to 60 in about 7 seconds, and i feel thats plenty fast.
