ok, i got me an Xmods from radioshack, it was 49.99, its sweet, a black skyline, and they have a lot of upgrade parts for it, i cant wait to go and get some parts for it, its going to be awesome! and it just looks cool too..are any of you Xmodders?

actually, a fully modded skyline would cost more, www.xmodworld.com theres all kinds of information in those forums, and a lot of people doing custom body/paint work to them

i have the supra xmod. if you check on ebay you can get the peices cheap. plus there's c/f drive shafts and motor mounts on ebay too.

you obviously dont know the awesomeness that these things are, they are possibly the coolest little gizmos ive seen in a while, you guys should go and pick them up, and then we can make a forum in OT just for these little things

Me and my fiance both have xmods. I have a skyline ( maxed out) and she has RSX (maxed out). THey work great for awhile but then you WILL spin the teeth off of the gear connected to the drivesaft, which I could not find to replace. Also the rsx turns alot better one way then the other. I think if you turn to the left hard it will pull the left rear tire up off of the ground and just spins. They where great fun last xmas but havent touched them since. If you want a really good quality peice and don't mind spending extra money go to your local hobby shop and pick up a Kyosho Mini Z. There are more models available, they are faster, and they last alot longer. All the plastic gears on the xmods are metal on the Mini Z's. Good luck and have fun with whatever you buy.

Although they seem cool, I feel fairly confident that I can find many other useless things to spend my money on.
