anyone else who goes to school have a teacher who provides you with an email address for when you have questions because they dont have office hours? I do. My teacher is a joke! He provides us with an email and when i do decide to email him with a question, he doesnt reply back! some of you might be thinking: "well, ask him in person" and its not that simple because his class is basically over until tuesday for the final. However, i do have about 4 essays due for his class on tuesday and im having problems with one. Great, i emailed him with one acct. he didnt respond a few days later, so i figured he mustve not got the letter, so i emailed him again with a different acct/service. a few days later, still no reply, wtf does he provide such a "service" if he isnt going to reply in at least a timely fashion! /End rant
all of my professors answer witin a couple hours. they check the mail regularly becaus the recieve over 200 letters a day, they have to stay on top of them.

yea well my professor is gay i mean c'mon, how long should it take to reply to an email? not to mention his email is a hotmail acct
my law professor only had 2 hours of office hours each week. He never returned voicemails or emails, and sometimes wasn't even there for his office hours. He read everything, word for word, from the book.
the class sucked. and i have the final at 10am friday.

yea, my economics professor is the opposite way...didnt mention anything about office hours, emails, etc. but he does NOTHING from the book, as a matter of fact, he didnt tell us what book to buy, he went off the top of his head. u know how hard that shit is? when u get home, u cant ask questions nor look up what he discussed about in class because u have no reference to his shit, other than his scribly writing and gay graphs! the fact that hes from africa and has this severe accent, makes the whole situation even worse. I have the final for that class the same day i have the final for my other class. My econ professor also assigned us to a 10pg report on economic theories with a minimum of 15 articles due the same day of the final. what a punk.
Most of my professors this semester have made it easy to get in contact with them, one even put her cell # on the syllabus (and no, she's not hot; in fact, she's quite large). However, in my first two years I did have a handful of those teachers and it sucks, especially come finals week.
My alma mater forced professors to keep office hours, I was lucky because most of my profs were very accessible and some wren't total dicks (or the female equivalent).
And if you have so much work, what the fuck are you doing on a forum? That goes for all of chew, back to the books, bishes!
Oh and Snoop wants to know when to add the fabric softener.

well,im the type of person who cant study for long periods of time. i just cant. For my term papers, i write them in paper as ideas come to me(i carry a folder with me) then i proceed to type it(may seem like a lot of work, but its easier than sitting in front of Microsoft Word for a few hours trying to figure everything out all at once). My finals wont really be too tough this semester, its just sometimes i have random questions that come up and i cant get a hold of the teachers to find the answers.

i've got two of my finals done already, i think i did well.(poli. sci. and american music)...my english final is take home, so thats what im doing tomorrow. blah.
music...jeeze. i had to write listeing journals for over 200 songs and memorize composer, publish date, performer, style, and instrumentation on about 100 songs. most of it was good music though except for the "modern" music...which is uhm...er...sounds like a child found the piano.

Do you go to Mt. SAC? I think i know about that African teacher dude
I just finish taking my final for m last class, it was at 7:00 am, and I dont know about u guys but thats tooo damn early to wake up and take a final which I think did pretty bad in but oh well, I had a high-B or low-A, either way my grade cant get too low. BUt he was really good about returning ur calls or emails, he would check them regualrly, all of my professors this semester did that.
But last semester I had this one professor that gave us a shit load of papers to do and wouldnt explain to us what he wanted and then he wouldnt use the book to teach, he would just start with whatever he thought was in the book. Never returned any emails or anything, which to me is freaking stupid. If ur going to give me some way to get intouch with u then RESPOND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
bingo. he had tenure. corner office too. one of the nicest offices for all the business professors.
And the best professor I've had in college yet has refused tenure. This is the guy that has gotten me all my job interviews, basically will have set me up with the companies that I'll be hired by. He got me the internship I did this semester, etc.
Great guy, and i plan on continuing contact with him in the future.
