The Hitchhiker's Guide to OFF TOPIC (the rules)

Something everyone needs to understand is Off Topic (OT) does (more or less) follow the same rules as the rest of NissanForums.com. However, considering this area is for discussion that is not on topic for NissanForums.com we do not enforce the rules as strictly. This does not mean anything goes! You will still get in trouble for breaking the rules, but within reason we do permit discussion and behavior in OT that is not tolerated elsewhere.

Given the above, there are some commonsense items you need to keep in mind when participating in here:
  1. You may be offended. Don't take anything personally, but if you do you need to keep your disagreement(s) to e-mail or private message
  2. If you don't like OT then don't read the messages. This forum is isolated from the rest of the site so it will not interfere with the "real" discussion outside
  3. If you don't make an effort to follow the rules your account will be permanently banned.
  4. Off Topic discussion and behavior needs to stay in OT

Basically, if you don't follow the rules of the site you can still get in trouble in OT. We're just willing to overlook more in here.

I think this needs to be reinforced since some of you think OT is a free for all. In addition to the above points, we will be deleting/closing threads that turn into useless post whoring. If you have to ask why it was closed or deleted, please refer to this thread. Also, if you are contributing to the useless post whoring, reputation points will be taken away. Remember that you don't have to reply to every single thread. But if you do, please reply with something useful that can be used to elaborate on the subject.

The point of this is to get OT back to a QUALITY forum, the way it was meant to be.

PS. Everyone chill on posting PORN all over the place. I think by now, everyone knows exactly where to get it if they want it.

Agreed! The whole point of OT is to have fun but we're still following the Forum rules here. If someone has figured out how to get here they can find there porn somewhere else. That type of content simply doesn't belong here.
