I've accidentally ruined threads before that wound up closed. Sometimes it happens that you bring up a topic that is either a. redundant. b. worthless to the forum c. off topic to the forum d. all of the above.

That's the reason why there are moderators: to make sure eveything is clean and to the point around here, and make sure that the threads and posts are kept in some kind of logical order and that they are generally of use; especially in the technical forums.

I do not believe that the thread you started about loving your car would have been met with much animosity had you posted here, in off topic. Just something to consider.

Either way, don't be so sensitive about it. He didn't mean to attack you personally. Let it go.
