I just got back from Dodger Stadium, I waited with the crowd this morning to get tickets. Got 'em for all 3 possible home games. I'm not really holding my breath, I've bought tickets before when we didn't make it.
Any thoughts on the post-season? I'm hoping the Dodgers make it and the Angels don't! St. Lou looks strong, but the team with the best record usually doesn't win the series. My guess? Oakland and New York in the AL, ATL and the Western division team in the NL. For the series? NY beating ATL. Sound familiar?

Wow, I should have bought playoff tickets, I'm jealous....how was it at Dodger Stadium? Was there a lot of people there buying playoff tickets?
In the NL I'm taking the Dodgers all the way. Not just cuz they are my favorite team, but because once they get Penny back, and now that Nomo is pitching well, they should be able to matchup well with any team in the NL.
In the AL, I dont think the Yanks will make it through the playoffs. It looks like this is the Red Sox's year, they are a much better team now without Nomar. I always thought that guy was overrated.....
Over 1800 people showed up to buy tickets, and, within half an hour, the whole loge and field level sections were sold out. For the record, I was like the 600th guy to buy tickets. The gave out free dougnuts and coffee, plus those foam finger things. There was also a hot chick with a nice butt in front of me in line. I just heard that all three games are sold out. I do have one extra ticket for the first game, but I'm not sure who I'll take yet...
Final note: The Dodgers finally beat St. Lou! Wow! We might have a chance! Especially with SanFran losing to the Arizona AA team.

The Phillies have been doing something. They've been very average. They can do whatever they want, as long as they don't keep the Dodgers from the playoffs. Which I don't think they can, I don't think we play them anymore this year.
Oh, BTW, this thread is open for all baseball discussion, not just the Dodgers. Even though they actually have some fans here.

Yup, heard on the radio that all the tickets for the div playoffs sold out in four hours at dodger stadium. I guess I gotta save my $$$$ to pay my friendly neighbordhood scalper for tickets
Finally beat the Cards last nite, and the Dodgers have to take at least 2 of 3 in this series. A sweep would be oh so sweet! I'm not worried about the Dodgers making the post season....San Fran and San Diego wont catch em. Let them fight it out for the Wild Card. Gonna go watch the game tonight at a bar, since the series is sold out. Once again the Dodgers will beat out the Angels in attendance, damn I hate the Angels calling themselves L.A.'s team....
ehh i tried getting some dodger tickets on the net and on the phone but dam impossible oh well theirs always next year...........im more of an angels fan but hey dodger stadium is like 20 min away from me so what the heck....
