Glad to hear you're ok. That really sucks! Reminds me of riding around in my buddy's old Malibu. Anytime we had to stop we'd have to stick our heads out the windows to keep from going retarded off the exhaust fumes getting trapped in the cabin.

Damn, glad you're alright dude. Poisoning is not good, especially when it can be prevented.

Yeah, that was definitely not fun, but I still drove down to ATL for teh Petit Le Mans race (and teamslow meet) that next day. All the symptoms pretty much went away by the next day, along with the $200 I spent on everything.

I seriously doubt they spent $50 on the O2 they gave me, and they probably didn't spend much on labor since I was alone the whole time. They're just making pure profit right there, greedy bastards...

You sure? Sounds to me like you had forced induction.

Hehe, the 'breathing treatment" as they called it was a O2 hose hooked up to this plastic container with some liquid stuff in it (adrenaline?) that when the 02 passed through it made a mist, and I had to breathe through this tube like smoking a pipe, so every time I exhaled I was blowing out smoke, so I guess it looked like NAAAAAWWWZZZZZ.

Oh, and on a happier note, I think I gained a *little* power with the new pipe going from the manifold to the cat. It is bigger after all, and I kinda noticed my car responding better on the highway on my way back from ATL. Maybe I'm just imagining things though after getting some rides in some much faster cars than mine while I was there.

speaking of NOS<, is the NOS they give you at the hospital (laughing gas) the same stuff you can shoot through your engines for a few seconds of mad speed? If it is its a win/win situation. Laughing gas is easier to come buy than NOS ( medical surplus stores) and you can get high of it....
