BERLIN (Reuters) - A German truck driver beat up a motorist he believed was driving too slowly in a case of 'road rage' in a country famous for having no limits on stretches of its motorways.
The trucker got in a fight with a car driver who had been slowing him down by observing a 30 km-an-hour (18 mph) speed limit in a built-up area.
Police in the western town of Bochum said the truck driver told them he felt provoked by the motorist "because he was actually driving 30 kph in a 30 kph area." The trucker faces an investigation and may lose his driving license.

That trucker should be made to go to therapy. But there are lots of 30 kph zones in Germany and lots of camera ticketing zones, so I completely understand why the car driver was doing the 30kph.

haha....my old roommate in Berlin was from Bochum, except he wasn't a truck driver. He was always paranoid about speed cameras.

Beat up for going speed limit? Thats just lame, worst I'd do is honk at them and shake my fist. I'd never get out and confront another driver, you never know if they're packing heat. People these days...

cameras that get u for speeding...now thats a bitch. I have always been paranoid about the cameras that snap pics when u run a red light, i always have a feeling that they can also snap a pic if they detect u going too fast

The Germans have turned into a bunch of politically correct pussy assholes, I'm half German but the Germany my half came from is long gone..My grandfather flew the ME262 and ME163 in the Luftwaffe and left soon after the war
