One of the worst bike accidents I think Ive ever heard of. *note: doesnt end well*

http://zrxoa.org/forums//printthread...262&perpage=84

I cant believe he survied the accident only to kill himself months later, and to leave behind a son....all because of an asshole that didnt slow down for him.
Truly saddening.

Its hard to believe that something as simple as his leather jacket and gloves could have saved his life...

well, he didnt lose his life in the crash, he kiled himself because of the pain/disfigurement, and gear will protect against that...

thats what i ment by the leather jacket and gloves saving his life, just having those 2 things on would have most likely help save his hands and any road rash he recieved on his torso. As for the ankles and legs I dont think there was much that could be done about that.

That was a sad story but it reminds us of what can happen. Were not invincable and that helps hit that notion home with me.

Jackets and gloves wouldn't have saved him from those injuries,at the speed he flew off the bike..the objects he hit would have went right through that stuff..Bikes are dangerous, you can be the best damn driver in the world but that soccer mom in that 2 ton suv isn't..Riding bikes isn't cool, its STUPID..If you care about your loved ones, sell the fucking thing cause there are things worse then death and you may find out what they are if you keep riding..

Rest in peace

ok, you speak of what you dont know. Yes riding can be more dangerous than a car but it doesnt make it stupid. There are thousands of riders that know what they are doing and have not been in a serious crash and most likely never will. You are just as likely to die in a car accident if your not wearing a seatbelt and there are more people in the US that do that instead of riders. And yes gloves and a leather jacket would have saved him from alot of the hand injuries and any road rash he had on his torso...real bikers gloves are sturdy as hell and can take some serious abuse. Just take a look, each glove has serious padding and bracing around the joints and knuckles...at worse he might have broken a few of them but they wouldnt have been mangled as he described

/\Damn right. Riding dont make you stupid. Doing something stupid makes you stupid. People dont ride because they think its the cool thing to do, they do it because they like it. And YES gear can protect you, its protected me plenty of times. If I hadnt had it on, I would have most likely been torn apart from the fall. And thats on a fourwheeler. ATV gear isnt nearly as thick as road gear.

Usually the worst motorcycle accidents are caused by dicks in cars that don't see riders. Most people just don't think to look for them. My dad has experience with that, as do most riders, I'm sure. The best thing you can do is make yourself as visible as possible.

Can I put a turbo in my non-turbo? Yes. The trunk is quite large.
Can I put a Supercharger in my Z31?Yes. You can probably put it next to the turbo.
Can I put a Z32/newer 300ZX/VG30DETT in my Z31? This one is iffy. You'd have to disassemble it to get it in the trunk.
