What goals do you have for your cars/trucks this year?
Mine are: Assemble my Olds Cutlass and actually drive it for the first time in 5 years, run 11's in the 1/4 in my 1979 AMC Spirit(runs high 13's now) with a mid 13 second time slip by the end of next month, 260,000 miles on my Frontier and paint then sell my B14 Sentra so I can hunt for another project car-preferably a AMC Hornet hatchback or a Rambler American to use up the leftover drivetrain from my Ill fated AMC Javelin.

My goal is similar ET wise. I'd like to see my ride dip into the high 11's this year. Throw some serious suspension on it. My ass dyno is telling me its in the mid to high 13's now with the timing revised to 25degrees. My ass dyno is usually very accurate. I'd also like to see a 300zx brake and 5 lug conversion on it so I can get some 9" wheels in the rear as well as brake like a mofo. hell, I may even go auto-x this bitch. RHD por vida!

My mods on the AMC go something like this: New rearend with LSD and 3.73 gears( I currently run an open 3.54) so I can actually hook up the power I have now, then go to an Edelbrock Torker intake manifold and these 2 things should have me in the mid to low 13's( These 2 mods will run me around $700.)Then I need a 3500 stall converter which may drop me another .5 seconds (according to some AMC people) and a 175 shot of nitrous.( Converter is like $125 made by a local shop and the nitrous is $500 or so) The engine was built with nitrous in mind and I already have a 3 step retard and a MSD 6AL and a decent fuel system, so who knows, with those mods, I just may be in the high 11's. I also want a set of Edelbrock heads($1500) and their soon to be released shorty headers. Oh, and I also want drag radials.I may also try out a local drift event with the car just so I can say that I am the only one there with a AMC drift car...LOL
Did I ever mention that I am obsessed with this damn old car?

himile, I'd love to hear about your car in a dorifto event!
Anyway, my plans for my cars:
Slocus - for it to remain stock. I might out on a stainless exhaust tip because the stock thing in getting dull, but that's it. My biggest plan is to keep up the payments on it.
B12 - New snow tires in back. The Canadian Tires cheapies give it way too much oversteer and we need something to match the Blizzaks on the front.
Other - If I get a job I applied for, it involves a 50 minute each way commute. I will not be putting those sort of miles on the Focus, so I'll be borrowing my Mom's old Suckfire. A CD changer might be needed, and I might have to rally the pig.
My biggest plans as far as cars go this year is to get some class wins in rallies, and maybe a provincial class championship.
hmm, finally get my car painted and half it last for the rest of the year. id also like to get what ever is wrong with the suspension or steering fixed. im getting really tired of the creaking and crunking from the front when i turn the wheels.

get my front bumper painted (only been chipped since 4 months after i got it), maybe the whole car painted. do a couple more mods to get it to run 9's in the 1/8, fastbrakes brake kit and maybe a few other small things. for my truck i want to add a set of 22's and a lightning blower kit. with my new route i shouldnt have a problem with those.
