I for one dont mind if people are gonna trade in a car for another. If the 240 is the new numero uno car to have then so be it. That will just mean we will get a few badass ones from the really rich kids that have money to do the good stuff and then a lot of really bad ones that just have a inake and some huge nasty wing and miss matched paint.
If there are a bunch of crap one it will make mine that much better compared to theirs and if they actually want to learn some info and not do things because everybody else is then I will support them. I know you werent born with the all mighty blessing of the Nissan Silvia/180sx/200sx/240sx so people have to start somewhere it just so happens that a lot of people are starting at the same time and going in every direction.
**PS - I dislike Honduhs because they make no torque, not because of who drives them.**
The problem here is people go from Hyundai Excels, and Suzuki Swifts to R32-R34 GTR's/GTS-T's, with miss matched paint and huuuuuge wings....*sigh*Sometimes I hate it down here when the ricers that don't know anything get huuuuugly powerful cars

Honda's are great cars. Reliability, great gas mileage, affordable, good aftermarket support no matter what your goals, great platform for anything you want to do. A honda can do anything that any other car can do given the proper attitude, time, and of course money. Sure they are not made for torque, but they weren't originally made to be what they have become in some circles. But if you want torque, there are plenty of options if you use your brain. Honda's were meant to be exactly what they are. Reliable, and fuel efficient. But wayyy back in 81 they gave you a sneak peak of both worlds. They gave you the honda city turbo powered by a 1.2l turbo motor. They had one of those things in the 13's way back when with 138hp and 160lb ft of torque. Holy shit?? you mean honda's are capable of torque?? Your god damn right. If you want torque out of a honda you build it if that is your only complaint. LSVTEC or CRVTEC are the ways to accomplish this among many others. Just because everyone has one, doesn't make them bad cars. Maybe your missing out on something?? Ever take a honda around a track to see how much better it handles than a nissan? I haven't either. But I do know from personal experience that my old honda's kicked the shit out of my nissans stock for stock in the handling department. Not to mention Honda beat Nissan in a grudge match taken to the track. It was on Super2NR tv if you didn't see it. Nissan having alot of turbo vehicles as opposed to the n/a of honda had the power. But honda had the handling. It is a drivers game in anything you compete in... no matter the competition. And almost garunteed that 98% of you will never know or reach the full potential of your vehicle, so it shouldn't matter which one you choose. As long as your happy with it. Nissan is not all powerfull in the world of automobiles. Neither is honda... it's all in what you make of it. Open your minds and have some fun instead of bitching all the time. It's alot funner when your out here..... outside of the box.

No one modifies hondas here apart from bad cosmetics. Its cheaper to buy a silvia, skyline or WRX rather than try to work the honda. But there are heaps of old square shaped preludes around with nothing but chrome rims, bad t-wings and VTEC stickers. The kiddies think they are fast ha!
holy shit that's terrible. We have loads of 11 second to 14 second honda's here. I just saw two 11 second honda's last night in fact. Truly awe inspiring

ive never seen any fast hondas around here...tonssssssss of ricers! oh and hondas arent the only ones...theres this hyundai....he has exhaust, a big intake filter(bigger than his damn motor) and a big wing and hood pins held on by FISHING LINE.....he revs the shit out of it...hes got graphics all over it and it takes him honestly like 10 revs to back up into a space....its soooooo shitty....fuckin rice!

screw hondas. they were made strictly for economic purposes, but some idiot one day decided to go all out with one, sure it was cool at the time, then it got funny, now it aint even a laughing matter, it's PATHETIC. but however ill admit that some shitvics are cool due to the shit he's done to it, mainly added a front lip spoiler, outside is all stock, even paint, no wing, nice hybrid engine. however so much money he put into it for so little power(200+hp) and some nawwwwws is in it.

No, honda civic's weren't built to go fast. But neither was the sentra? The other econobox. Sure we can just throw an sr20det in ours and go fast, but they can equally just put in an h22a turbo. Same difference. Honestly, honda and nissan arent' that different. In capable hands... both are great competitors in anything you do. No matter what your local neighborhood tells you. Come give me a visit and I'll show you around. Setups so sweet it will make your head spin. And this particular group I'm talking about represents both honda and nissan pretty strongly. Just to name a few, there is an 11 second 240 with an sr20det, full show ready, but still hits the tracks. 11 second hatchback with ITR turbo full race show, 12 second ITR full show with h22a turbo, don't know the times yet, but its a b20vtec turbo fully built with nitrous full show ready... . And well you all know about mine soo.... yeah. Come to the neighborhood... and it will open your eyes a bit all except mine have paint and bodywork so clean you'd think you were inside a magazine.

ive seen some bad ass hondas at a car show, especially the nsx-r they brought over. we had a tuner bash at panama city, bout an hr drive or so from where i am. 400hp civic ripping it up in the dyno, made me go deaf with that exhuast under the hood. well that was my fault for being right next to the front wheels. a few hondas ripped a new one. an m12 noble came along on it. a 777hp supra blew some pipings. honda and nissan are most definitely the same, i guess it's just the fact that the way hondas are treated is what gets me get ignorant. when i see a honda that's treated right i have respect til then im the most ignorant motherfucker known to mankind.

As for the most riced out vehicles in my neighborhood, they are usually sentra's, old stanza's, old accords, old escorts, and a few civics here and there. This town pretty much killed the ricers. It used to be you couldn't go to store without getting revved at 10 times. now I can go a whole day or few with out seeing a big wing or clear tail lights. What a nice town this is now

Well I am not saying that they cant go fast or that you can never make torque with them. I was more or less saying people that have no clue how to build or upgrade an engine think they are fast because they saw a video of one beating a viper. They dont realize how much work, money, and time goes into something like that much less how to drive a car like that.
Is that all you guys have ther. lol. over here there is a 9 second hatch not sure what he is running but i know he is putting down 550hp and then there is another ahtch that is putting out in the 400s and running low 11s or high 10s. They can hand my ass to me all day ling if they wanted to. They are street cars too not trailer queens. I also own a 94 Inegra GSR. It belonged to Marcus Williams if anybody knows who he is. Lets just say that he had the integra and was the 1st integra in texas to hit 11s and then later the 1st Honda to hit 10s. So yeah. Anything can go fast. I would just rather do it in my S13 than my Integra.
