Who's working in their major????

I'm wondering who is actually using their degree??? I've heard many times over that most people don't work in the degree they got in college. I got a music industry degree in 2001 which is useless. Here's my equation for why: Radio Consolidation + Music Piracy = Unemployed College Grad. Anyway, I'm studying accounting now... man this s*it is hard!!!!

Teaching works.... Guarenteed job. I would feel guilty about going to school to teach what I was trained in, knowing there are no jobs out there and downsizing continues.

I'm majoring in Economics, and I can get into a variety of fields with it. So, for me it doesn't really matter what line of work I get into. Somehow my major will play a role with the work I will do.

I majored in Computer Information Systems. I guess you can say I do work in my major. I configure IBM servers and before that I would do tech support. I'm starting to get really tired of it, so I got a second job. I'm getting tons of training on finance, which is really interesting.

2 Year Computer Technology training school in high school. Help Desk support for a year after I got outta highschool. Programming for 5.

That intermural sewing class I took just hasn't paid off. Now my dreams of fashion design are crushed <sniffle> <wipe tear>
