What happened to 4 line signature rule?!

is it me or does it seem like alot of the mods are taking the 4 line signature rule as seriously as they did before.

i see so many.. literally so many people that have over 4 lines in their signature and no moderator or admin has ever changed it.

is this rule still in effect ? and if it is then in my honest opinion some of the mods should start a cracking down.

I like a man that's by the books... but there may be some grey area to that rule....

long sigs are a bitch. i always reported post with huge sigs but quit when nothing was ever done about it. and some of theses sigs that are exceptionally long are just retarded. read the rules and follow em ppl.

Are you reporting them to the correct people? Only super mods & admins can edit signatures. If you use the "report post" link it could very well be reported to someone who doesn't have the power to do anything.

Never assume a rule has just "gone away". If that were the case it would have been removed from the listing. If something hasn't been enforced it's more likely someone with the power to enforce it hasn't been informed.

When I see sigs with more than 4 lines, I PM them to give them a chance to trim it themselves. The mods can do this, and if they don't comply, let me know.

i pmed a member who will remain nameless about an incredibly long sig and the reply was. bla bla bla. (insert mod name here) already trimmed it back some and said this is okay. it was still like 8 lines of BS.

this rule is not an exception and my pet peave(sp?)
