May I suggest a new forum to make everyone life easier...

A Politics/Current Events/Debate/BSing forums so people we dont actually want to argue dont have to see the threads. Only people who want to argue will have to see the thread and it will make people's lives easier as they will not be in the OTF. I dont know how it works, but if you (MF Admin) do this and can not find a Moderator (official or unofficial), I offer my service. It will solve the problem of people who dont like me dont have to interact with me. THose who like candid, honest discussion can. Win-Win for all here.

There also needs to be a forums for the Court if its goning to be viable.

Agreed for the court forums... assuming it actually is going to be used to hand out punishments and settle disputes... not just something the bigwigs here have started for fun. (Please excuse any apparent ignorance, for I am not "in the loop" when it comes to the new court thing)

I'm not entirely sure us bigwigs quite know yet. Plus, the court is going to have to be a hell of a lot more successful than it currently is... we had a hell of a time getting this one case, and it's kind of sucking.

We need good stuff... like... um... yeah.

I think it could become useful, if the established regulars use the 'court' forums to discuss the problem points of the whole forums... like when we axed the Nissan vs All.

Instead of a few admins "adminizing" an unruly user, the court forum could be used to discuss what should be done about them. Like when Alty was having his "that's stupid" douche spazzes.

Except of course if the account was obviously made just to advertise something...

And discussions on new rules/policies.

Could be like.. a court and government all in one.

Naaah...we don't need a new forum for those topics, we need some people to grow a pair and stop whining about the fact that other people have differing opinions! If you don't want to respond to or deal with a thread's topic, just skip the thread! Be it Abortion, Gay Marriage, Immigration or the Environment, most thinking individuals have opinions and defenseable positions. The fact that not everyone agrees is why America is such a great country- we have the right to disagree and argue about our opinions without fear of imprisonment.Enjoy that right by either exercising your right to speak out on an issue, or by taking your right to ignore it.

I think the traffic in OT would have to pick up some more before it would get divided into separate serious/nonsense sections. There just doesn't seem to be enough serious discussion to warrant it's own section.

Before anyone suggests adding another forum to nissanforums.com, I would recommend taking a closer look at the overall picture. Do you realize how many forums are here already?

If you want to post a thread about picking your nose, there's probably a place around here somewhere.
