So who is it? Who was/is the biggest celebrity you've met. And sports athletes after a game don't count.
Who on a daily trip to the store, or trip to the gas station, or benefit event have you met? And saying you met Mike Young doesn't count.
btw - I met TWO people on separate occasions. I met Steve Kerr on a daily basis at the Health Club I worked at for about 3 months while the Bulls were on NBA Lockout.
2nd - Two weeks ago at the hospital.......DITKA!! Mike Ditka came in. That boy is BIG!! Looks small on TV, but DAMN he's big!
I've met Tom Green on a few occasions, way before he was famous, but had his cable access show. The first time when he was in school at the same college as me, I was working for the school paper, interviewing people in the halls for a human interest "what did you do for march Break" story. I ambushed him and caught him off guard, at first he said it was OK, the he said it was terrible, that his dog died and his family were in mourning. I almost burst out laughing, but the remote possibilty he wasn't making it up on the spot stopped me.
Then I talked to him at a bar just after he made his pilot for CBC and MTV. I was having an actual normal conversation until a friend of mine saw him and freaked out, and tried to be funny in front of him. He just shot my friend a look, turned and said, "well, it was nice talking to you" and that was that.
Through rallying, I've met a few people who have some type of fame in racing circles, who get on TV. Wait, I get on TV too. Watch targa newfounland on Speed TV, then you can say "I know that mulleted Gomer hoisting the beer" or "one of the guys in that Volvo that gets into the gravel is from NF!"
I was associated with former NFL player Al Toon for a little while. He opened a dealership and we were there quite a bit. He wanted our Corvette for his showroom, but he sold his dealership. I met Mickey Mantle's son David once, and was featured on TV with him. When i was in LA a couple years ago, I ran into Cameron Diaz on Rodeo Drive. My dad's former boss has a house near Malibu and the "Drug Lord" scenes from the crappy movie "Bedazzled" were shot there, not sure how that counts. I also met the members of Carolines Spine at their Taste of Madison show. I think thats it...

A few years back while MTV was doing their spring break thing in San Diego, I ran into Sean William Scott (Stiffler) walking the strip in Pacific Beach. It was just after the first American Pie came out, I remembered his face, but couldn't remember his name. He is bigger in person as well. He asked me where the good clubs were, so I gave him my opinion. That same night I saw Tyrese in one of the clubs. He is much darker in person.

late last year i was having dinner at Matsuhisa (japanese place here in LA) and they sat me next to Mike Myers and David Spade...said hi and shook their hands..also Bon Jovi..I worked at Universal Studios as an assistant and he took a private tour of the park once..got an autograph..thats it for me
My uncle used to work as event staff at Veterens Memeorial Colleseum
and one night when I was little he took me to a wwf match and I met Leaping Lanny Poffo and Ax and Smash
I also went and helped install and I saw Dave Mustaine in a scottsdale circle K
he was pumping gas and I chatted him up a little bit while I was standing there too
