Datsun Forums?

is there anyone here other than myself that would like a datsun forum? I don't know if it would be able to be done here or if i'd have to set up forums on my own systems. I use the datsun210 group at yahoo, but yahoo groups suck for posting images. And my datsun says 'nissan' on the valve cover, the datsun Z cars are accepted as nissans all the way back to 1970 on this forum. and datsun1200.com id mostly a12 eurpoean models.

Problem with that is that you and maybe 2 others would be the only one using it. You could also try to go to http://www.datnet.org/new/index.phtml for any info you seek. Pretty usefull site if I do say so myself.

** why are they always in australia, south africa or britian? tht makes things a bit more exciting.. nobody in the states likes datsuns?

We had a Datsun forum for about 6 months. It got about 50 posts.

If you can convince me that such a forum will get traffic I'll create it for you.

I would love to have a nice 510, but they just don't exist here really. I've seen a few in AZ with 300zx turbo motors stuffed in them. But other than that I don't see them at all

I don't know how much demand there is for it, people would have to know it existed. the yahoo groups forum gets 100- 300 posts monthly, some of the datsun stuff would tie in with the Z car stuff you currently have. Maybe other interested people will see this thread and comment on it to give us an idea of how useful it would be.

my mom gave me when I was like 14 a 78 210 but I sold it to ecology cause I couldnt get it running again I regret it cause it was in good shape it just sat so long and you dont see those anymore

I used to own an S110 (82) DATSUN 200SX, I still hope to find another one to restore. I'd favor a Datsun forum. The one at freshalloy is decently active.

I dont own a datsun but I think it would still be cool to have a forum similar to what nissan forum is. Maybe smaller scale. If someway there was a better way to link people to the z section here from the web that would be cool.

I have an 81 210 HB. I've nearly restored it to working condition. I got it because it's virtually a RWD sentra and I thought it would be fun to have a FWD and RWD model.

I'd hate to cannibalize all the other datsun forums to make a forum here viable. I saw a CA18(d?)et datsun on another site today! damn!

if there were 1 thing great about those old datsuns it's the fact that you can put nearly any engine and tranny setup you want in one.

maybe there were enough datsun lovers lurking here already.
