I say if people still haven't figured out how to buckle up then screw-um. Natural selection at work.

I agree with Zeno, but from another point of view, why should you have to wear one, if your only gonna kill yourself... I wear mine every time I get in the car, not because of law, because of habit, and it isnt a big deal to wear a seatbelt. When me and my girlfriend first started dating she NEVER wore a seatbelt, she hated them. She got in my car for the first time and I remember we got into a fight because she wouldnt put it on, so I pulled over and refused to drive until she did. Since then she wears it every time she gets in any car (even in the back seat) I trained her well (she also does the dishes, cleans my room for me and gives hella good blow jobs)

Ya I wear mine out of habit as well. I won't drive unless everyone is also. My mother never wants to wear it either til I made her in my car. The other reason I wear mine though I know it sounds dumb I hate that fucking red seat belt thing that stays on.

lol that thing pisses me off... in my mothers car there is an annoying chime and an alert in the message center that says "fasten seatbelt" its a pain in the ass.

I disabled my chime in my car... then I realized it was connected to the same power connector that powers the sensor-thing to lock my seatbelts when I brake hard. Stupid me. Needless to say I re-attatched it, 'cause without it my seatbelt is no better than a lap belt...

Bing.... bing.... bing.... bing....

I agree with Zeno. Back in the good 'ol days this wasn't a problem, but more cars + faster cars + traffic + road rage = more chances for accidents and death...

But I do think it should be up to the person themeselves whether to buckle up or not, except children. Perhaps everyone under the age of 16 or so must be buckled up... not responsible enough yet or some crap like that.
