I see different cars in Chicago all the time but usually never find out what they are cause they are usually turning few cars in front of me. or drive by going the opposite direction.
Opel is owned by GM, so its not a really big surprise for me to have them bring over some here for whatever the reason may be. Just the other day, my friend in Michigan saw a Skyline with manufacturer plates on it (aka G35). Why Nissan brought it here, I don't know, but the fact is they did.

Not a bad car that!
I rented one of those while in England at Christmas, badged under the Vauxhall logo of Opel... Normally Cadillac have picked up other Opels before now, like the Catera which is the Omega in Europe, so yeah, strange they would have the Opel Badge... Nice though
I'm not in the loop, so maybe this isn't news, but I saw a new opel signum in losangeles the otherday.
I thought it might have been a renault, but once i researched it i found it's an opel.
UPS, I forgot, it's Chevrolet \/
Opel sold cars in Mexico with Chrysler badges: Corsa (previous and recent version), Astra(great compact car), Vectra(great car, shares platform with newest Malibu & Saab 9-3), Zafira & Meriva, so... I guess it could be easy to expand market to USA.
I've no idea about the signum but 2.2 engine is a very popular one here (some versions of Astras, Vectras & Zafiras)

Interesting, could be some testing to see if they want to bring it over here and sell it.

I doubt that Chrysler sold Opels under their name, are you sure they weren't sold as GM, or a GM brand? Maybe Chevrolet?
