Anyone see that commercial where the two guys are battling for that jersey, and the one with the highspeed connection wins? I just went through one of those. Some focker outbid me with 1 min left on my auction that I have been sitting on for 4 days. Good thing I was watching. I bid back at 30 seconds. Then he bid back at 10 seconds. I refresh and I had 4 seconds left. I bid again and won by the hair on my chinny chinn chinn. I would have been pissed if I didn't get this... thank jeebus for cable internet.... phew!
i go through that about every other time i bid on something on ebay, I usually just wait til the last 10-15sec. before i bid, they never know what hit 'em and don't have a chance to fight back! And yeah, cable is nice!
i have also had this same thing happen to me but i am unlucky, i have dialup and loose evry time. then i found this website called bidnip.com. with this you can't loose and you don't even have to be online. you guys should check it out.
ive heard about that bidnip mess, i dont know if it works or not cuz i dont use ebay but it does sound like a pretty cool thing to have on your side, if it works at least.
I had a rare CD I sold on ebay about a year and a half ago. The original bid was for $10....lasted 6 days and a few hours......in the last hour 22 bids were made and it sold for $54. NICE!!
