Do you let other people drive you vehicles?

As a rule, I dont let anyone even get near my car unless I say they can. I only let a few ride with me. And under no circumstances is anyone but my father allowed to drive my car. Anyone I catch behind the wheel of my car gets beat to within an inch of their life; people think Im joking when I say that but Im dead serious. I dont trust anyone but my father with my car. He's only driven it once though. When I rolled it, he came and got it and took it home while I stayed at work. I value my car far too much to let someone else drive it. I work for the money that pays the bills for the car and I did the work to get the car the way it is.
I dont see how you can let someone else drive something that you paid over 10k for or any vehicle for that matter. I really dont. If I do something that messes up the car or something of mine, I really dont care, cuz I can get it fixed for practically nothing. But if someone else does something, Ill lose it. Its the principal of the situation.
I dont even let people ride my fourwheelers. One is worth over about 6k and Ill be damned if Im going to let someone else go out there and risk screwing it up cuz they want to try and show off or try something new. Again, only my father is allowed to ride. We think alike and we drive and ride alike, so I know its good. If he screws something up, I know its not his fault. But Im a little more aggressive off-road. Hell, I blew the engine on one of mine and I didnt really care cuz I did it. If someone else did it, duher, Id be pissed. And if you havent noticed, I seem a little greedy, but I prefer to think that I like to protect my investment. I paid for it, Im going to use it, and if its going to get broke, Im going to be the one that breaks it.
So how about the rest of you? Are you as crazy as I am or are you more relaxed?

Only 2 friends even have the right to drive my car, and only under the most extenuating circumstances. Otherwise, no.

Only 4 people other than myself have ever driven my car, my dad (twice), my brother (once), my friend since we were 2 years old (once), and the previous owner. No one drives my car, especially if I'm not in it, it's just a rule I have.

No one ever gets to drive mine...unless it's a family member or a hot chick...but still, I have to be there at the passenger seat.

Only my parents get to drive the Focus. Even my girlfriend wouldn't be allowed, but she can't drive standard anyway. My roomate asked me if he could get some moving footage of the rally car using my car as a chase vehicle.
Me: NO.
Him: Why not, it's just for going down the road?
Me: NO.

What am I supposed to do, let his asshat friend drive my new car? Think not.

in the beginning, when i first started modding my car and i was REALLY into it, no one would drive my car, not even my parents.......screw that. now that the car has been around for a while and had its share of "accidents" i dont really care who drives, i'll let family drive it, but not friends because if something were to happen to it, they would prolly not pay, i only have like 1 friend that would pay if they crashed it.

Well, it all depends on who it is and which car it is.Certain people I know have had their share of fast junk cars and I trust them the most. I mean, someone who's only driving experience is new cars will not have the reactions necessary for a powerful car without adequate brakes and chassis!

once when i had first bought my car i let my 2 best friends take it while i was in work but then they picked me up late from work so that was the end of them driving it. I would let certain people drive it and also my family drives it and my bf drives it to.
