Moderators oversee specific forums. They have the ability to edit and delete posts, and delete or move threads. The job of moderating is given to those who have demonstrated a willingness to help out and are knowledgeable about the forums.
Me thinks that we need to re-evaluate our current OT mods based on the above information.

Well, they're rather loosely enforced here in OT. Though the flaming thread was closed because of the rule you quoted in your second post. But those are the rules by which the rest of the forum is moderated.
Anywho... I think that it is a good thing that the rules are so loosly observed. On the SPEED boards they are so strict it's stupid. I seriously don't think "Bastard" is a bad word but they do... there fore it is posted as "*******."
