Hey guys, any NFS fans outthere? If you havn't heard the latest on the most succesful racing franchise next to Gran Turismo, NFS's latest project "Underground" is based on Japanese Hot Rodding. And four of our beloved Nissans have staring roles:
350Z
Sentra SE-R Spec V
240SX SE
and of course what racing game would be complete without the legendary Skyline R34 GTR
check out the current details and the competition on their new site:
Come on man, you've been here long enough to know...

LOL... can't wait for that game... NFS Hot Pursuit was one of the only driving games that alleviates the ache of Gran Turismo 4's looooooooong development period.

ok, so i've gotten sloppy. I blame that on my blind excitement of actually having internet for the first time in a few months.
Hey, it happens...

Im waiting on SRS and NFSU....and waiting...and waiting...and waiting.
Tell me this. Is NFSU going to follow the rest of the crowd with the modeled cities? or will it be in the traditional NFS style and just be a restricted course? I havent looked into it much. Since its NFS, and it looks soooooooo freakin good. I dont worry about the features that much, Im just going to buy it.

The courses in NFS Hot Pursuit were so good that I didn't mind that they were on rails... not much anyway... i guess we'll have to just wait and see... but if completely modelled cities means a drop in graphic quality, I hope they don't do it.

yea, the graphics are so great that I forgot about the PS2 having to deal with that and the rendering of the city. they may not have modeled cities after all...oh well...

I couldn't care less about the PS2. Only game i ever liked was GT3. Just as long as the PC version dosn't get jiped like they did with HP2. The cars' handling was crappy. The last good NFS was Porsche Unleashed.
I like a racing game where the cars actually handle like they do in reality. I have my doubts about what they are going to do with Underground. But i'm reserving final judgement until it finally comes out. The PC demo will be out in a few weeks i hear...
HAHAHAA... I hope not. ...but it probably is. NFS HP2 on the PC was kind of difficult to control compared to the PS2 (we still got better controllers, nya nya nya!), but amazingly, the best VIce City version I've played is on the PC... best graphics and best CONTROL... pick it up, even if you've finished it on the PS2... it's worth it.
