And I'm back..

Just thought I'd let some of the older nissanforums people know that I'm back. Some of you may know me, some of you most likely don't. I left this board a while ago because I sold my DET sentra and got a motorcycle. My craving for speed was then fullfilled ten fold. But I still lacked something in my life that had once been there before. I need turbo power. I can't live without it. It controls me. I even yell and shake my fist at the buses driving past me because they insist on taunting and tormenting me with the spooling of their huge turbo's. I must have it.. its a craving of mine. So a week ago, fate reared its beautiful head and gave the chance to get back into the nissan family again. And without hesitation I took it. I am now the proud owner of an S13. I bought her for $150. So from now on, I guess get used to seeing me post again. I'm sure I'll have alot of questions for you 240 kids in the future. So yeah, here are some pics of the new ride, and some to remember me by.. peas.

Unfortunately, she is going to be sitting around for a few months while I gather funds to do her up right. Upgrade fuel pump, radiator, turbo, etc. Basically do all of the things that I should have done to the sentra and make a real car this time. My goal is 12's this time instead of the 13's that I did in the sentra. But since she is sitting around for a while, I'm going to be goin through her to learn all I can maybe start puttin it on a serious diet. But I'm all about lookin stock and goin fast in sleeper mode, so I don't know if the diet will be a realistic goal or not.

Man, its been awhile since I've seen you here. A bunch of people are still around from those days (my earlier days). Liuspeed, StealthB14, AznVirus, Teknokid, Kbrassfi and a whole bunch more just stayed for the ride. I, like you also took the S13 path, 90 KAT(and yes, it is currently KAT, not planned.) Its always good to see another knowledgeable FI person back on the forums.

and yes, that is the RB25. I'm 95% sure I'm getting that motor for this beast. That is if the funds hold out and I can swing a nice deal for a front clip. Someone say a prayer for me and the RB25DET!

Due date for this project to be done is late january.

Yeah, its beautiful. It's even better wearing nearly full gear on my motorcycle in 110+ heat.

nope nope.. I would like to do a sileighty conversion. But it is really not in the budget. I would rather go fast than stand out in the crowd. But I'm most likely going to need a new front end, probably a stock front end or a front chin made out of urethane when this all gets done. So if anyone knows where to get those fill me in. I have a crack in the grill and I haven't really got down to look how serious it is yet.

But if I had an unlimited budget. A sileighty conversion would definently be the thing to do. That and convert it to right hand drive. Those thoughts will be filling my head as I sleep tonight. *sigh

She's still runnin... I'm out of work right now, but at an ironic time... with the gas crisis and all. Been great since the tranny overhaul, just some TLC to attend to. How'd you get the s13 for $150? And who's got the XE now?
