After Accident Pain!

Okay I got into an accident with my 240 fastback yesterday morning. I was rear ended by a 2003 5 series beamer. After hitting ME he tried to tell me it was my fault. "I wasnt stopped correcltly." How do you not stop correctly?

Anyways I had neck pain yesterday. But it got worse today. I can barely move my neck around or turn my head or anything.

Just thought I would share. Has anyone else ever been in an accident and have this happen?

Its just from the extreme movement coupled by you automatically tensing durig the impact. It will go away. But go easy on it, you don't want to mess it up while it heals.

one friday late night, the full moon out, cruising down the local strip, waiting for my crew in the other car stopped at a light, popped favorite cd in, cruising at 35, then out of nowhere, 2 pairs of lights charging from the light, tried to get out of the way, but too late, next thing i know, i was pushed, then dragged, then spun a whole 200 degrees facing the other way, shaken up, got out, evaluated problem: needs new rh/rear quarter panel, rh door skin, rear bumper and tailights, got 2' matco prybar, with green handle ready to start swinging, saw a mustang to my left and an '03 eclipse on the right, started calling cops and grabbing driver's to the ground, sirens, cops, ambulances came, no need, but the kick in the pants was, the cop didn't charge nobody for street racing, even implied that I was street racing myself, very pissed, friends tried to enhance my calm, and tow truck driver's, like sharks circling the debris, made them realize, "i am a freaking tech, i know i can still drive my car and i don't need their help", so they made their killing with the 'stang and the 'clipse, but not me, not me..............oh yeah, told the cop i pried the 'stangs bumper from my rear's while curiously pointing at my prybar, clenched tightly in my hand........

If you got hit (and it wasn't your fault) and you're hurting now, don't take it lightly. Sue the hell out of them. Not just for the money, but for your health. File a claim with their insurance and tell them that you're neck is hurting. You may get screwed if you don't. You may end up paying for doctor's bills youself instead of the insurance company.

Dude get it checked.

I was hit drivers side by a truck last december. My neck didn't hurt till couple days later and my back. Then on advise of friends I saw a chiropractor and therapist and of course my lawyer.

I had for months really bad muscle spasms whiched caused straightening of the neck. I also had spasms in my back and some pain in my left back. They took an MRI on me in may and found out I have a bulging and messed up disk in my middle neck.

If you feel any numbness anywhere it could be a sign of disk trouble. I didnt get any tingling pain a couple months later after the spasms subsided a little.

For the spasms I was prescribed norflex and another drug if you are curious. Some where so bad he was going to prescribe valium but I didnt want to because I had to drive.

Lesson: GET IT CHECKED. If you let it go and dont do anything and the pain gets severe later it will be hard to prove its from the accident.

then if it's gonna get totaled, start planning for a new platform to start new projects with.........then feel the burn, and burn the feeling......
