Heres the story, over 2 months ago I purchased infinity speakers and a JVC headunit from a user on DSMtuners.com and have yet to recieve them this day. The user still posts there and has given out such useful (for me) information as his cell phone number, full name and email address. Also he is looking to buy a gen 2 dsm. I paid 120 dollars for those parts.
My question is, would it be illegal for me to "sell" him something that he is looking for in the WTB section for 120 dollars and never send him his item... I mean if I create a whole new user name and place to ship it we would have an even deal... no loss. so would this "stealing" be illegal if it was mine in the first place?

why don't you make a plea to the moderators of the forum about your plight, PM one of them and tell them whats up. if anything they can bring it to the forum's attention and he's almost be forced to reply or never show up there again.
I think i'd go through with it Dryboy. He deserves to be put through the frustration that he's put you through. Then after he sends you the money, tell him who you are, and say "thanks for my refund biatch".
Unless maybe you think he is sincere about getting you your products, maybe he's just had some problems. I don't know, sounds good, but then again it dosen't.
well the deal goes like this, for 2 weeks no contact after payment... apparently his father died. then no contact for 2 more weeks... he got into a fight drunk and broke his bone at the joint... then decent contact for a week. then no contact for a week and I got a "sorry I spaced out" email... now nothing for 3 weeks... once in a while he'll sign on MSN messanger and then quickly sign off (assuming he sees me on). well I think 2 months is enough time for something that cost over 100 bucks, I was reasonable about it, understood his first couple complaints. He said he'd get them out by last sunday, and i havent seen anything, told him if I dont hear anything by wednesday I'd get my money back one way or the other. Now I'm getting it back.
i would burn his ass....when they burn you, you triple burn them back....if you were honest enouh to send him money he should have sended your product.....nobody will satisfy your revenge or anger like you can.....by that i mean authorities and whatnot...peace
chances are that the police wont do anything about it, so that would be kinda pointless i think, just give him a dose of your own medicine, 2 months is too much..I mean he is obviously robbing u, how long can it take to ship somethin out? it takes 1 day, 1hour tops.....everyone has that kind of time.

i say do it man. no one is going to help you. i found this out when my friend traded someone in ohio some weld draglites with skinnies and hoosier slicks for a complete 5 lug conversion. if the guy wasnt in ohio we would go up there and take an item of choice from him
