newbie sections needed, or just general info

I've been noticing more and more lately that a lot of incorrect information is thrown around between newbies............and that it gets repeated constantly.

I think this is more prevalent on the b15 threads, but I see a lot of unbelieveable stuff in Nissan vs. All as well.............................

Maybe it's just because the newbie count is so high here, I don't know.........but the people throwing around the incorrect information are getting way too confident and cocky about what it is they don't know.............................A General Info section or complete Newbie area would probably do this board some good...........................

A general info section could greatly benifit the B15 section .

The reason we haven't done this, or split up the classifieds, is there are already 75 forums. Some of which just collect dust.

Creating more forums in the past has just created more problems.

What I am thinking is that each model/section should have a FAQ section where we can point the newbies to read through that first before searching. Threads will be hand-picked by the moderators, as well as suggestions taken from the members. Freshalloy.com has a similar feature for their 240SX community, called "Best of 240 SX", which contains posts whose contents are not all BS. If we could do that with the Sentra Forum, that would be great.

nawww..............beyond that. Now what I'm seeing is people coming on the boards with wrong information who think they're right and everyone else is wrong............................................. ....there are a lot of moderators on the boards.........but very few for the b15 forums. I volunteer to be a moderator for that forum (and QR25) because I'm on the net a lot. I just don't think those forums get enough moderator attention.

I think that if we would direct the newbies to the other sentra related sites, as seen on the page below, it would solve alot of their fuss and cuss about whose wright, and whats write. I search the ser.net, and sentra.net all the time, especially when im trying to learn about something. I mean iver literally printed out the whole site and made my home library out of the information that ive found. Its just like church, DO NOT BELIEVE the Preacher just cuse hes preaching the sermin, you go back home, and look it up for your self and find out the real answer, cuse sometimes even the preacher is wrong! Ive greatly benefitted from just going back and pointing and clicking to see if its how someone says it is, and guess what, alot of times it is not really the way at all!
