California Drift Competition

So did anyone have the incredible opportunity to go to the Drift Competition in Cali at Irwindale Speedway. If so let me know how it was.

No, but I did watch a segment on SUPER2NUR TV (which sucks if you haven't seen it, they play the same episode every week) but it looked really interesting and fun. Someone in a S13 hatch hit the wall, and it took his back bumper off! He got out and duct taped it back on and kept going! If it were me, I would check it out as soon as possible.

I went. It was .. suprisingly boring :\ ... there was a better show outside where they held 3 drifting courses which it seemed like ANYone could try.. if you had a regulation helmet.

The best thing inside was probably the pro drifters, throwing up so much smoke and RUBBER into the air that it rained down on your face everytime they made the pass. it RAINED rubber.. have you ever had rubber fall from the sky? RAINED.. i tell you.

They had a mini car show which was boring as sin.. but for 10 bux and a free t-shirt.. i say it was a fair deal.. got me motivated to get me a beater car and do a little drifting of my own.
