Are you talking about power folding mirrors or manual folding. I dont think power folding will work without modifications. Our side mirrors has 3 wires; blue, yellow and purple. The jdm has 5 plus you need the switch to control it as well.
Also, you have to remember that jdm mirrors are for right hand drive cars only. The adjustments/travel of the mirror itself will be different. Ask someone to adjust your stock mirrors while you are sitting on the passenger seat. See if you will be able to.
Can someone else give inputs about this matter?
Bob

I have Silvia S-13 mirrors on my Maxima and it did require a pair of wires additionally to be run into the door but everything plugged right up to the new switch and the adjustment issues you talked of are right on track...

it is a novelty but I will likely sell them of to a 240 driver

I got some from Nhighosilvia(sp) (aka:jason Lemon). They look just fine, but I can't install them until I can afford to paint them.

He supplied the switch with the mirrors as well and the switch fits in perfectly in place of the old switch. the switch looks just like the original power mirror switch, except there is an extra 2-way button under the adjustment switch that controls the 'in' or 'out'.

The mirrors themselves have 5 wires. purple, blue, and yellow for the adjusting, plus a light and dark green for the folding. All I need are 2 extra wires per mirror to run from the mirror to the switch and it's ready to go. REALLY, REALLY simple wiring. I assume instllation will take me about 15 minutes.

I don't have any pics right now b/c I'm not at home, but I do have a video of them folding. send me an email if you want to see the vid.
