Why did you guys buy your ride? What made you buy it? and when did you buy it? I'll start first of all, I bought mine in December 2001 with only 21,000 miles on it for a 1998. I didnt know much about Nissans or else i would have gotten the SR20. I bought it because it was a rare car with an extremely rare color and it had all the options I wanted. Power everything except seats, CD player, Sunroof and 5 speed
I needed a car, it was sorta new, it looked alot better than my old beater. I got it January 2001, if i would have known what i know now, i would have done a little more research
My old car broke...I knew it was gonna happenen sooner or later. Wanted to find something under 20,000, that was reliable and had good stlying. Also it had to have some kind of quickness.
B4 old car broke I was saving up and looking around...test driving. Found the Spec V to be the best bang for buck with nice styling.Couldnt find a spec in my area...thought i was gonna have to go with the reg. SER. The week my car broke down, a new Spec came into the local dealership. Bought it 2 days later.

An ex-girlfriend's mother had a '92 B12 (Sentra Classic in Canada) with a 5 speed. I loved driving that car. For what it was, it was a great car. Good torque, confident handling, nice steering and the best gearbox of any car I've ever driven worth less than $30,000. You could take it anywhere, beat it, run it hard and it seemed to love it. It was great compared to the wallowing domestics my family always bought (sporty looking but ill handling).
When I went to buy a car after graduating college (May 1999) I looked at Legacy Turbos, and new Proteges, but wasn't finding anything that felt really good. While I was at a dealer looking at a Legacy I saw a '94 Sentra XE and asked, just out of curiousity, the price. It was a good price, low mileage car so I took it for a test drive. After about 15 minutes I came back and put a deposit on it. It felt much like the old B12, with a lot of improvements (except the gearbox).
Needed a car to go to college, sister crashed my civic. I guess it was an omen cause within a few weeks my brother finds a sentra and tells me to fix it up.
i was working in the city for a while and takign the train to work. then i got a job 5 min from home, and i wanted something for every day use, with the truck i was gettint 8mpg, and $40 a week in gas was getting pricy.
i also wanted something new with a warenty, i was getting tires of buying some one elses problems and constantly fixing them
I was never really into Nissans until I found my car. It was sitting in the back of the dealership waiting to be worked on. I competely fell in love with it and told them I would be back in a week to buy it. I bought it January of 2002. It had 36k on it, power everything, sunroof, cd player, spoiler, rare green color. Gotta love it!

your car may be faster, but my car is louder
just because im a girl doesnt mean i cant be into my car
I really wanted a car. It was the first I looked at and after a test drive I really liked it. The milage was sorta high, but it was all highway milage, and the previous owner was a maintence-nazi. It was also CHEAP!! Other then the rust this car has been pretty much perfect, and has only left me stranded when I left the lights on. I love my baby.

My uncle said he had a quick car and that he wanted to sell it. He said "i take good care of it", so I bought it in July of 2k2, then spend 2k on it lol. Now it is awesome, my little mountain climber.
I got my nissan because I didn't want to be a follower in the land of civics accords integras and eclipses flooding so-cal I wanted to be different plus I love nissans always been a fan. I went to auto show that is at the convention center here just about every year. I went an sat in the 200SX and it was the only car besides the BMW M3 that felt right to me of course the M3 was out of my price range. I wanted to get the SE-R but couldnt find one that was affordable and I need a car right away since our shifts got split up at work and the carpool thing wasn't going to work out anymore. I'm happy with it got it in Sept 2000 and i have driven the hell out of it. Let's see started off with 68,000 miles on it now it has 128,000 Nissan Driven fits me perfectly. Plus it's a damn reliable car.
