22 year old guy having sex with a 16 year old girl
Hi. Long time reader, first time poster.
I found this in a fitness forum.
A guy, 22, wants to have sex with a girl who's 16. I'm the dad of a 1 year old daughter. I am worried about her enough as it is, but I cant think of how much I'd worry about this if this was my daughter. I'm angry about this guy doing this, am I right to be angry? What would you do if your daughter was in this situation?
Yeah, true. But at the same time, a 16yo girl is gonna want a slightly older guy. It does work both ways, no always just some guy pushing a young girl into it. 16 yo girls aren't very stupid.
Im only 23 and my past ex's and present GF started before 16, they knew what they wanted, and they went after it, as fucked up as it sounds (I waited til 3 months before I was 19)

I don't really see a problem with it. You have to visualize yourself in his shoes.
Legal age in Canada is 16...so your thinking of 18 yr old being legal won't apply.
Now don't get me wrong. I have a 5 yr old and I wouldn't want her dating someone 6 yrs older till she was well into her 20s.

16 years old nowadays is not that young. But I guess if its against the law then its against the law, it just depends on your country or state what the legal age is.
If I were a Dad of a 16yo girl then I'd talk to her, tell her to choose wisely and do not let her emotions do the work.

yeah, i was almost 19 before i started having sex. My past girlfriends have been the same as yours. They start young. It is sick, but it's pretty normal now days. I couldn't stand having kids. I would be so overprotective.
Women think they know what they want at that age, but of course they don't.
Actually, I think that goes for all people.

The problem is, a 16 year old is not a woman. She is an UNDERAGE GIRL.
According to Ontario Law, they are women... I wouldn't do it, but if the law says it's OK (kinda makes you worry about the people you put in office, doesn't it?) then he's no more of a douche than the 40 year-old rich fart picking up an 18 year-old at a Bar.
My grandma was 15 and my grandpa was 21 when they got married. This was in 1956... My grandma ran away with my grandpa, they came from Indiana to Georgia where, at the time, it was legal. My grandma was 17 when she got pregnant with my mom.
They have been married for 51 years now...
My first inclination is to say this guy is a deuche, however I would say if a finger needs to be pointed anywhere, it should be to whomever decided 16 is the legal age where he lives..
we don't know the girl or the guy.
i know guy(22) who married a girl(16) her parents weren't happy but they thought it is her decision not their's and if they try to stop it things will get ugly so they allowed it that was only a year ago.
now what i think is we should stop running each otheres lives and concentrate on our own. since no two persons are the same.
I not defending him we just don't don't know the entire story.
