School Started at 7 am for, and went till 12am, I have midterms this week. Then I had to drive 40 miles to downtown Fort Lauderdale with some friends to tape a Broward County School board meeting which lasted until 4. Then I drove those 40 miles back through traffik, and dropped my friends off. At this time it was like 6pm. I just wanted to get home. So then I see a red light coming up and I had to take a right and there were several cars in front of me. So then I just take a "shortcut" through the Gas Station. So I look around and go, and then I drive about two blocks. Then I see flashing lights and a cop on a motorcycle behind me.
Then I point and ask "Me?" into the mirror and he nods his head. So I pull into the next street, windows down, and he pulls up next to me. Then he asks me.
"Son, did you know what you did?"
"Uhm, noo..."
"You cut through the gas station"
" "
"Do you have a reason for doing that? Its an $81 dollar ticket, its the same as going through a red light"
"Uhh, I guess I dont have one"
"So was it worth getting a $81 ticket?"
"No it wasnt, it was just I was at school all day and I wanted to get home"
"Alright, let me see your license"
So I give it to him and feel like ish, this was my first time being pulled over.
So he hands it back to me, and got ready to leave. Then he asks me
"Were you wearing your seat belt?"
"achhhahah, not reaallly"
"Thats another $47 ticket. WEAR YOUR SEAT BELT"
Then he takes off, and I ride home at 20 mph.
What a shitty/good day. I ended up not getting a ticket, phew.

hey look on the bright side, you got the shit scared out of you, learned your lesson, and didnt get a ticket, i say you lucked out, cops over here are ruthless
He saw me take my wallet out and was looking inside the whole time. He probably saw me not wearing it, why would he bring it up in the first place? Id rather not lie to him, or else I probably would have gotten the ticket. Im mos. def. wearing my seat belt from now on though.

some cops appreciate the honesty if your lucky if your not lucky im sure everyone knows this but whoever doesnt, cops almost always ask you what you did as the first question and be sure to say you dont know...lol...as for the seat belt, i was watching trauma on TLC and this girl didnt wear a seatbelt and went through the windsheild and when she hit it, the left side of her mouth from the corner all the way up her cheeks was sliced open about 4 inches, oh man it was nasty, looked like one large mouth...maybe im gonna save some lives what a good samaritan i am...wear your seat belt everyone
I just have a girl in my car whenever i drive, that way, she can show some leg, give a wink, and vroom off just like that.. haha loll, j/k..

you handled it pretty well. I've been warned about couple of times by cops. Just dont be a jerk to them. one time i had to drive my lil bro to his H.S. and I forgot my license at home and got pulled over. the cop let me go and smiled. I was very respectful.
A fat state trooper pulled me over not too long ago. I wasn't speeding and according to my radar detector, he didn't have his radar on. He pulled out behind me and waited until I turned into a sub division to turn on his lights. He checked my tint, lights and anything else he could find. He checked my tint 3 times, just looking for something to write a ticket about. In the end I got a warning about things that are illegal on my car. I think that's bullshit. My husband gets tickets in my car reguarly and no other cop/trooper has ever complained. Anyway, even though I didn't get a ticket, I don't think that he was a nice trooper. He had nothing better to do than pick on me.

just today i was going to college, and i see cars slowing down, but i'm speeding then look at the side and see a bike cop giving a ticket to some chick in my class(what r the odds).........he looks up and sees me...but i say fuck it.......hes already stuck there....so i enter college and start looking for parking...after a while i find none and i'm just cruising....when i look up ahead i see the same bike cop coming into college(city cops dont patrol colleges).....so i think hes looking for me.....anyways i make a turn and see that he flips a bitch(u turn) and leaves......i was happy..and that chick didnt go to class(i dont blame her)
