Srt-4_me?

I am looking at some new cars because my 10 year old isnt running very well. The srt 4 looks pretty cool, but I am wondering about the limited availability. Are they just making a few of these cars, or will I be able to get one with out ordering it a year in advance and going to the dealership every week to check if mine came in? I think the car looks very nice in red. Can someone photoshop the pic with rims and lower it? I hope that this car can fill the 3rd garage next to my 2k2 explorer. When are they going to arrive at dealerships?

i was being sarcastic... guess you can't really tell that. but seriously, it'd probably break down before it crossed the finish line.

I know that the car is a neon and that makes me wonder if it will be any good, but I am looking at the car because of its performance aspect. Any neon stories? I have never owned a dodge!

Neon stories? how about this list
-2 mos old: pass. window motor dies
-numerous trips to have dash replaced due to brackets breaking
-36k miles(as warranty runs out) Altenator dies, headgasket bites the dust.
-24K miles, A/C condensor burts for no apparent reason (must have thought I had hit 36K miles)
These are just a few of the issues that come to mind right now. Not to mention be prepared to total the car out if you hit a large bug while driving. (the car is a large coke can)

From what I've been reading Dodge has been bringing up the quality of its parts.

i hear that the performance is good and all but it doesnt take much shit before it starts to break. i hear the interior is prone to rattle. so i guess that would take lowering it and wheels out of the question(bumpy)

dont dis yugo like that, a friend had one that took more shit than any neon i've seen, i mean yugo has absolutly no power (we had problems out running a miniture poodle one day ) but the things we did to that car was amazing the same things i've seen
neon's try and just break.

lol at my post!

for real though, yugo's do suck, suck balls, but id trust their reliability over neon's any day.

But if they had reliability issues with the base models, just imagine whats going to happen with this one.

Yeah, there are too many new pocket rockets on
the horizon (VW R32, Mitsu EVO VIII, Suby STi)
to be considered that will run circles around the
Srt-4 that don't have the reliability issuses that
Mopar's do.
